Summer is Coming

I know the students are eager to get those summer days started.  It is hard to believe this school year will be over in one week, and summer truly begins.  This has been a learning year in many ways both for us as teachers and for the kids.  They have learned so much in each subject area, but also they have worked hard at learning to love their classmates and serve one another for the sake of Christian love.

 There have been days when we had to really dig deep and find that love, but we have read the Word of God daily and prayed many times in the midst of it all.  We have thanked the Lord for the good days and the not so good days!  Through it all we have grown in our dependence on Jesus and not our own strength.  We have developed patience and forgiveness towards each others.  Life with Jesus as our Saviour and Lord is a journey, and we walk this journey throughout our entire Christian life.  Our happiness is an emotion we may feel at times when our circumstances are going as we want them to go, but our JOY  is down deep in our hearts where the Holy Spirit dwells and makes His home.  Our JOY rests in kowing we are secure in the family of God and our home in heaven.Our Bible memory verses that we have clung to have been Ephesians 6:29  and
